This all takes between 3-4 months from the moment of purchase.
  2.     Installation works of the house

Below there is a list of the main stages of the installation works.

The final deadline of the delivery of works and the installation schedule generally varies depending on each customer design changes.

Paying for the installation works of the house takes place according to the fixed price and it does not change due to the possible additional time cost or additional materials which are necessary for installation (except, when the project is changed during the work).

Scope of work includes:

  • Unloading kit from container and using the crane to put the walls up at the same time to limit cost on lifting equipment

  1.     Foundation works

In addition to assembling kit homes we also offer foundation solutions for our kit homes. We have two options to choose from, depending individual customer’s needs:

  • Concrete slab
  • Pier and beam foundation

Both options come with 100 mm insulation as we try to limit energy loss on every step.

Concrete slab is our most popular and also our recommended option. It is also the fastest way for a solid foundation. Depending on the size and access it takes 5-8 days for a finished product. It is not suitable for every location but where possible should be considered.

Scope of work includes:

  • Levelling ground
  • Gravel base
  • Plastic membrane
  • 100mm rigid foam insulation
  • Minimum 200mm concrete slab
  • 100mm foam insulation on sides

Depending on customers design, plumber needs to be organised by customer to install necessary water and sewage lines going through the slab.

Pier and beam foundations are especially suitable for remote areas where access to concrete is difficult or sometimes impossible. It is more time consuming and on average takes between 7-14 days depending on the size and access.

Scope of work includes:

  • Preparing holes for piers
  • Foundation for piers
  • Brick or steel piers
  • Hardwood or steel floor framing
  • 100mm underfloor insulation
  • Costumers choice of floor sheeting

The pricing depends on the size and access of the project.
